Thomas L. “Tom” Dryer, 65, Blue Springs, MO passed away Sept. 22, 2015. Services will be 3:30 pm, Sat., Sept. 26 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Visitation will begin at 2:30 before service at the chapel. Committal services will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family would like to encourage everyone to sign your organ donor cards or contribute to the K.U. Medical Center Transplant Unit, 3901 Rainbow Blvd., Kansas City, KS 66160. Tom was born June 4, 1950 in Independence, MO and earned a B.S. degree from UCM. Tom’s career was in materials management at many Kansas City area hospitals. He was an accomplished singer who sang in many bands and had recorded an album in Nashville. Most of all he loved being “Grampy” to his four grandchildren. He was a devoted Christian who was strong in his faith. Tom was preceded in death by his father John Dryer, sister Sandi Hoover and nephew Matt Hoover. He is survived by his wife of forty-three years Diane Dryer, of the home; daughter Sandi Moleski and husband Mike, Lemont, IL; son Ryan Dryer and wife Amy, Blue Springs, MO; mother Beulah Dryer, Lee’s Summit, MO; grandchildren Donovan, Delaney, Raleigh and Sullivan and nephew Adam Hoover and wife Shauna, Grain Valley, MO.
