Sylvia P. Dunlap

Sylvia P. Dunlap, 91, of Kansas City, MO, passed away, Saturday, March 5, 2005 at Rosewood Health Center. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 11, 2005 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel. Burial will be in Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday, March 10, 2005 at the chapel. Donations to Oblation Fund of donor�s church of Outreach International. Sylvia was born May 2, 1913 in Floral Schatchawen, Canada to Julian and Mary (Troost) Peterson. She had worked as a quality care supervisor for a shoe manufacturer in Hamilton, MO, she had helped her husband farm and had also worked as a teller in a bank. She was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Hamilton and the Community of Christ Stone Church in Independence, MO where she was in the women�s auxiliary and had been a volunteer for Independence Regional Health Center. Survivors include; a son, David C. Dunlap of Raytown, MO; 2 sisters, Olive Schoff and Dora Rounds both of Independence, MO;4 grandchildren, Robin Nordike, Jeff Dunlap both of Independence, Carmen Freda of Sallgus MA and Terry Dunlap of Grain Valley, MO and 7 great grandchildren.
