Harvey Dutzel, 95 of Independence, MO passed away Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Rosewood Health Center. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Monday, March 22, 2010 in the chapel. Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery. Harvey was born April 25, 1914 in Bad Axe, MI to John and Louise (Klienfelt) Dutzel. He proudly served in the United States Army during WWII earning three Battle Stars. Mr. Dutzel retired from Bendix in 1976 after 21 years of dedicated service. Harvey is survived by his step-sons Randall Ayres and wife Connie, Mark Ayres and wife Carolyn; grandson Brian Ayres; nephew Fred Dutzel and wife Linda; and by a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
