Penny Sue Dykal, 67, Independence, MO passed away Monday, August 31, 2009 at Centerpoint Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 2:30 PM Saturday, September 5, 2009 at Carson-Speaks Chapel; 1501 W. Lexington Ave. Independence, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dykal Family.
Penny was born March 9, 1942 in Independence, MO the daughter of David V. and Helen P. (Patterson) Arends. She had been employed with Social Security and was a Real estate agent for 10 years. Penny was a member of the Seventh Day Advent Church in Independence, MO. She was preceded in death by her son, Andy Dykal and her parents.
Survivors include her son, Shaun Dykal of Independence; granddaughter, Santina; sister, Pat Arends of Independence; brothers, Bill J. Arends of Tacoma, WA; Don V. Arends of Independence; and niece Kim Maize.
