Ronald Eastburn

Ronald K. “Ron” Eastburn, 72, of Bates City, MO passed away Saturday, March 21, 2009 at the Oak Grove Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2009 in the chapel. Burial in Floral Hills Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the MS Society. Ronald was born October 22, 1936 in Kansas City, MO to Alvin L. and Lydia (Ihrig) Eastburn. He graduated from Northeast High School in ’55 before graduating from Findley Engineering. Mr. Eastburn proudly served in the U.S. Army from ’58 until ’64. He was united in marriage to Erin Davis on February 11, 1961. Ron spent his career farming in Excelsior Springs, MO, Brighton, CO, and Lebanon, MO. He was baptized into the Christian faith in ’79. Ron was a member of the Masonic Lodge #76. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Erin (Davis) Eastburn; daughters Diann Looney and husband Mike, Denise Burr and husband Jim; grandchildren Joey and Justin Guinn, Eric Chapman and Michael Keith Looney; and by his beloved Yorkie, Heidi. Ron was preceded in death by his son Daniel Keith Eastburn in ’79; and by his sister JoAnn Fulton.
