Martha Gwen Eddington

Martha Gwen Eddington, 75 of Kansas City, passed away Tue. May 8, 2007 at the New Mark Care Center. Graveside inurnment will be 1:30 pm Sun. Jun 10, 2007at Oakridge Memory Gardens. Mrs. Eddington was born on Dec. 2, 1931 to Charlie and Christena (Nelson) Turner in Independence, MO. She had been a cook and cafeteria manager with Osco from 1964 �" 1994. Martha was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking, traveling, doing crafts and spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter, Amanda, who was the joy of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Eddington, a brother, William Turner and a sister, Wanda Glee Turner. Martha is survived by her daughter, Christina Eddington Hadley and husband Jeff of Kansas City, MO. A granddaughter, Amanda Hadley of Kansas City, MO; three brothers, Jerry Turner of Raytown, MO, Joseph Turner of Portland, OR and Charlie Turner of Norfolk, VA. Two sisters, Charliene Turner of Houston, TX and Melvina Robertson of Springfield, MO and by many nieces, nephews and friends.
