Arthur Eddy

Arthur "Dale� Eddy, 57 of Overland Park, KS passed away Friday April 27, 2007 at the Providence Medical Center. Services will be 10:00 a.m, Wednesday at the Olivet Baptist Church 4901 Mission Rd. Westwood, KS 66205. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday at the Mound City Cemetery in Mound City, KS. Visitation from 6to 9 pm, Tuesday evening at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Donations to the Olivet Baptist Church. Dale was born August 16, 1949 in Linn County, KS to Oran Tyrell and Eileen (Holloman) Eddy. He had worked as a delivery driver for the Great Plains Pharmacy in Lenexa. He was a 1968 graduate of Rosedale High School in Rosedale, KS and had graduated from Faith Baptist Bible College with a degree in Theology. He enjoyed working, sports singing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a member of the Olivet Baptist Church. He was married to Earlene (Carey) on September 5, 1970; she survives of the home. Other survivors include; 2 daughters, Jennifer Lockhart and her husband Wm "Bill� of Independence, MO and Pamela Brooks and her husband John of Lincoln, NE; his mother, Eileen Taylor of Kansas City, MO; a sister, Deborah Wilbur of Hobart, IN; two brothers, Oran Lee Eddy of Lansing, KS and Robert Eddy of Shawnee Mission, KS and seven grandchildren, Nicole, Michael, Austin, Jacqueline, Kalysta, Connor and Renee. Dale was preceded in death by his daughter, Sarah Eddy, who died on September 4, 1999. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
