Wm. Edmondson

Wm. Harold Edmondson, 89, of Independence, MO peacefully passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2011 with his family by his side. Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2011 at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 1-2:00 p.m. Friday at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Harold was born May 30, 1921 in Blue Mountain, AR to James Edward and Lula Margaret (Hood) Edmondson. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Mr. Edmondson retired from Frisco Railroad. He was a faithful Chief’s fan having been a season ticket holder since 1972. Harold is survived by his daughter Carol Lerner (Clint Dempsey); son Dale Edmondson (Teresa); granddaughters Sarah Shelton (Travis), Morgan Lemmon (Robert); brother James Edmondson (Wanda). He was preceded in death by his wife Lola Maxine; siblings Vera, Wilba, Bob, and Nathan.
