Obituary
Edwin Oliver Smith, born November 5, 1932, passed away January 20, 2026. He was 93 years old.
Edwin graduated from William Chrisman High School in 1951. He married Carol Lee Duncan on September 7, 1958. Edwin is a member of the Buckner Restoration Branch.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence E. Smith and Lillian E. (Chapman) Smith Weeks Roby, his two granddaughters, Ashley and Megan, and his wife, Carol Lee (Duncan) Smith. Edwin is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Smith (Wayne), great-granddaughter Aubree, step-grandson Kodey (Laila), and step-great-grandson Wesson.
Donations can be made in his memory to Buckner Restoration Branch or Sheps Place Senior Dog Sanctuary.
He is an Army veteran and a Korean War veteran.
