Bobbie Jack "Bob" Elkins

Bob Elkins, 85, of Greenwood, MO passed away Oct. 21, 2015 with his loving family by his side. Visitation will be from 4-7pm Monday, Oct. 26, 2015 at Family Worship Center, 1210 N St. Rt. 7, Pleasant Hill, MO. Bob was born on Feb. 5, 1930 in Harrisonville, MO to Abraham and Iva (Maupin) Elkins. Bob was a truck driver for many years, as well as a farmer. He was just as comfortable in a seat or in a saddle! He enjoyed watching old westerns, throwing horseshoes, and playing pool. He especially enjoyed country music and listening to his children play while he kept the dance floor hot. Survivors include; son Bryce Elkins (Dee); daughter Dena Hobbs; grandchildren Austin Elkins, Peyton Hobbs, and Lucas Hobbs; brothers Leroy Elkins and Billy Elkins; sisters Doris Ann Glover and Betty Sanderlin; numerous great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Bob is preceded in death by his wife Donna Totten Elkins, and daughters Terri Jury and Janet Barton.
