Donald “Ross” Elliott, III, 3, of Independence, MO peacefully passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at Children’s Mercy Hospital surrounded by his family. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 3726 Lee’s Summit Road, Independence, MO 64055. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at the church. Burial in Lee’s Summit Historical Cemetery next to his grandfather. Ross was born March 2, 2008 in Overland Park, KS to Christopher and Aixa (Rodriguez) Elliott. He is survived by his parents Chris and Aixa; little brother Chris; maternal grandparents Jose and Aida Rodriguez; paternal grandmother Karen Elliott; uncles Joe Rodriguez, Keith Elliott and wife Brandy; aunt Andrea Ertzner and husband Luke; cousins Payton, Riley, Jessica and Liana. “I love you to the moon and back, and that’s a lot!”
