Drew Elliott-Mayfield, 55, of Independence, MO, passed away, Thursday, October 22, 2009 at the Kansas City Hospice House. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 26, 2009 at the Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta, KS. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday evening at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Drew was born September 29, 1954 in El Dorado, KS to James A. and Wilma N. (Elliott) Mayfield. He worked as a licensed cosmetologist for a number of years. He was known to be an animal lover and rescued animals of all kinds. He is survived by; His mother, Wilma Mayfield, sister, Jimette Raymond and great niece Jasmine Large all of the home; a son, Robert D. “Tiger” Barclay and his wife Holly and children; a nephew Jimi Lee Large and his wife Cory; a great nephew Derrick Large and a great niece Aeriadini Hartley and her husband Paul.
