June was a devoted wife and mother who always placed the needs and wants of others before her own. June came of age in a idyllic American era when moms wore pearl necklaces, stayed home and were truly home makers. Yet, she changed as society changed, she learned how to drive a car and went to work part-time to provide for her young sons after her husband passed away suddenly. Her family and friends have held her dear and loved her for her true and selfless “heart of gold.” June also loved little dogs over the years: Sparky, Junior, Dutchess, Maggie, Annie and others. She delighted in reading her newspapers and detective magazines and loved old time country music and western movies. She always seemed to have a big glass of iced “sweet tea” at her side and liked baking German chocolate cakes for birthdays, and corn casseroles and oyster dressing for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Over the years she devotedly went to Old Town Spring PAC meetings, helped and attended Salvation Army and the Eagles (FOE), and worked as a volunteer for “Bread of Life” at Mt. Washington Baptist Church service center. She is survived by; 3 sons, L. Glen Enloe, Darin Wayne Enloe and Michael Lynn Enloe all of Independence, MO; a step son, Donald Lee Enloe; 2 daughters-in-law Patricia S. Enloe and Janet Enloe, her daughter, Tammy and children; 3 grandchildren, Amanda June Rucker, Nicholas Devin Enloe and Philip Daniel Enloe and well as 2 great grandchildren, Rayna Chanel Rucker and Chloe Madison Rucker. She was preceded in death by her beloved brother, Paul, her parents, a stillborn son, Gary Dean Enloe and her husband Emil Leslie Enloe.
