Valerie Epling

Valerie Elaine Epling, 62, Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013. Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Carson-Speaks Chapel; 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052. Memorial contributions may be made to Wayside Waifs. Valerie was born July 24, 1950 in Winter Haven, FL the daughter of Don and Wanda (Conley) Scudder. She had worked at Maywood Terrace Nursing Home as a cook. Valerie enjoyed reading, the outdoors and was an adventurous woman. She was preceded in death by her husband Greg Epling in 1998. Survivors include numerous cousins, friends and her two cats.
