Florence G. Erickson

Florence G. (Stowell) Erickson, 88, Independence, MO died Feb. 6, 2007. Services will be 10 am, Sat., Feb. 10, 2007 at the Ridgewood Community of Christ. Private interment will take place at Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Friday at Speaks Suburban Chapel.
Florence was born Aug. 18, 1918 in Flasher, ND. She earned her B.S. in Special Education at CMSU and taught at the Missouri State School in Independence for 11 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was very active in her church where she taught Vacation Church School and was a leader of the Women�s Dept. She was also a member of the Nu-Era Study Club.
Florence was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a great-grandchild. She is survived by her husband of 62 years Paul L. Erickson, Sr., of the home; sons Paul L. Erickson, Jr. and wife Susan, Independence, MO; Chuck Erickson and wife Cherie, Olathe, KS; brother Clarence Stowell and wife Betty, Independence; sisters Eleanor Feiser and husband David, Lee�s Summit, MO; Jean Sinclair Independence; grandchildren Ryan McSpadden and wife Lori, Naperville, IL; Leslie Adkins and husband Mike, Independence, MO; Marci Patton and husband Sean, St. Peters, MO; Danica Rome and husband Kirk, Gladstone, MO; Bryan Erickson, Independence; great-grandchildren Connor Adkins, Grant McSpadden, Madison Rome, Drew McSpadden and Emma Patton; and many nieces and nephews.
Your passing has left a void in our lives, which we will fill with memories.
