Stacy Ann Evans, 37, of Sibley, MO passed away Friday, June 5, 2015. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, at Speaks Suburban Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 10, at the chapel. Burial will be at Mt. Washington Cemetery, Independence, MO.
Stacy was born December 12, 1977 in Kansas City as one of two children to Wendelin J. (Mahan) and Paul Dean Brockman. She attended St. Mary’s High School. Stacy managed a Taco Bell location and later Dollar Tree for over ten years. She married her beloved David Franklin Evans on March 21, 1998 and together raised three girls. Stacy was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed coaching her girls’ softball teams. Family time was spent together at Wednesday night tacos and Sunday night suppers at grandma’s. Her family remembers her as loving, giving, selfless, as well as sassy. Stacy is loved and will be missed.
Survivors include husband, David; daughter, Amber Douglas and husband Jeremy; daughters, Ashlee and Aimee Evans; her parents; sister, Jeannie Brockman; grandma, Norma Mahan; and mother-in-law, Dixie D. Evans. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, John and Elberta Brockman; maternal grandfather, Albert Mahan; and father-in-law, Leon Evans.
