Roselyn Fagala, 80, Independence, MO passed away March 19, 2009. Services will be 10 am, Monday, March 23, 2009 at Carson-Speaks Chapel; interment at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will begin one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
Roselyn was born Sept. 11, 1928 in Frankfort, IN. After working for the Chrysler Motor Co. in Indianapolis for nineteen years, she married Lee A. Fagala on Nov. 27, 1965. They then moved to Independence, MO. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church and the East Gate Lodge of the Eastern Star. She and her husband were huge auto racing fans and were members of the Central Auto Racing Boosters. She also won many Blue Ribbons for her needlework at the Missouri State Fair.
Roselyn is survived by husband Lee A. Fagala, of the home; daughter Jeanne Dasta and husband Sal, Kansas City, MO; brother Harley Shaffer, Indiana; grandson Andrew Zimmerli and wife Jennifer, Overland Park, KS; great-grand daughters Leah & Rachel Zimmerli; and many nieces and nephews.
