Thomas William Fawver, Sr., 66, Independence, MO passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Sat., March 23, 2013. Services will be 2 pm, Friday, March 29 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055; cremation. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Thursday at the chapel. Tom was born to Mary Lou (Lawrence) and Alfred William Fawver. After graduating from East High School in 1965 he went to work for Missouri Plating and finished his working life at the GM Fairfax plant. He served in the Missouri National Guard. He loved to fish, bowl and spend time with his family and his dogs. Tom was preceded in death by his first wife Elisa Codilla Fawver in 1980 and his father in 1985. He leaves behind his wife of thirty-two years Barbara Fawver; mother Mary Lou Williams; five children: Felisa and husband Michael; Tom, Jr.; Jeremiah; Sarah and partner Lisa and Samuel; sister Cyndy and husband Pat; two nieces; grandson Ryan; granddaughters Elisa and Dakota; great-grandson Joss and another grandson and great-granddaughter to be born in a few weeks.
