Betty L. Ferguson, 84, Lee�s Summit, MO passed away March 12, 2006 at Jefferson Health Care. At Betty�s request, there are to be no services. Cremation. The family requests contributions to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation, the M.S. Foundation or Wayside Waifs. Betty was born May 29, 1921 in Memphis, TN. She was an office manager for Freight Corp. for many years and retired in 1986. She lived at Lake Lotawana for forty-five years and was a member of the Episcopalian Church. Betty enjoyed racing stock cars in Powder Puff Derbys at Riverside Racetrack, fishing, bridge, golf and tennis. She was a volunteer driver for the Red Cross during WWII, a Past President of the Kansas City Women�s Traffic Club and a member of its Board of Directors. She was also a Lifetime Member of Disabled American Veterans, the Moose Lodge, and Women�s Auxiliaries of the VFW and American Legion. She was preceded in death by her husband John L. Ferguson and brothers Stanley "Bill� McCullough-Lovell and Donald Lovell, her parents Gilman and Charlotte Lovell. She is survived by her daughter Martha Condron-Shockley and husband Bill Shockley, Lake Winnebago, MO. The family wishes to thank Crossroads Hospice and the staff at Jefferson Health Care for their care and compassion
