Frances Ferguson

Frances M. Ferguson, 79, Independence, MO died June 24, 2008. Services will be 10 am, Friday, June 27, 2008 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; interment at Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Thursday at the funeral home. The family suggests contributions to the Susan Komen Breast Cancer Fund.
Frances was born Oct. 13, 1928 in Wyandotte County, KS. Her family later moved to Independence where she graduated from William Chrisman High School. She was a member of the Lioness Club and helped with her daughter in Skylarks and Orioles. She enjoyed knitting, ceramics, reading and playing piano, playing in her church for many years. She most recently had attended her son’s church, Holy Cross Christian Fellowship.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband Robert Ferguson in 2006. She is survived by her sons Rev. Steve Ferguson and wife Greta, Independence, MO; Mike Ferguson; Tom Ferguson and wife Kay, all of Odessa, MO; daughter Cheryl Flowers and husband Randy, Grain Valley, MO; brother Frank Tuttle; Independence, MO; seven grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
