She enjoyed traveling, the outdoors, and listening to country music. Georgia was a fantastic cook and it was one of her favorite pastimes. You could often find her watching cooking shows where she would get inspirations to try new receipts to try on her dear companion of 23 years Jim. Georgia loved people and had a zest for life Her favorite color was purple, so naturally she gravitated to love all things purple especially purple flowers, may we see her in them always. She will be deeply missed.
Georgia is survived by the love of her life, Jim Fillinger; her sons, Daniel and Nathan Elkins; 4 grandchildren; and siblings, Velda Rynott and Kenneth Finney. She is preceded in death by her parents.
