Timothy Fincher

Timothy Len Fincher, 66 of Blue Springs, MO, passed away, Sunday, May 18, 2008 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 23, 2008 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial will be in New Salem Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday evening at the chapel. Timothy was born January 7, 1942 in Kansas City, MO to Henry and Leona (Nash) Fincher and has been a lifelong area resident graduating from East High School in 1961. After many years her retired from MGE. He enjoyed softball, woodworking and riding motorcycles. He was a member of the Kansas City Baptist Temple. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was married to Judy Mays in 1987, she survives of the home. Other survivors include; 4 daughters, SaDonna Devaney and husband Todd, Tammy Long, Leslie Glasgow and husband Jim all of Blue Springs, MO and Terri Podolanko and husband John of Kansas City, KS; a son, Troy Fincher of Lexington, MO; 2 sisters, Henrietta Hopper of Grandview, MO and Delores Stewart of Denver, CO; 9 grandchildren, Erica Fincher, Lauren and Heather Glasgow, John Paul, Matthew, Kyle and Halle Podolanko, Michelle and Wayne Long; a great grandchild, Eva Podolanko and his dog Jackie.
