Jody Firebaugh

Jody Marie Firebaugh, 42, of Sugar Creek, MO, passed away, Sunday, August 24, 2008 in Kansas City, MO. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m., until service time Wednesday at the chapel. Jody was born January 16, 1966 in Kansas City, MO to Joseph and Evelyn (Griffin) Miller and has been a lifelong area resident. She graduated from Van Horn High School in 1984 and attended Wright Business College. She had worked most recently as a housekeeper for a dental group but had been plagued with medical issues, which prevented her from working. She loved listening to music and was also an animal lover. She is survived by; her mother, Evelyn Gardner of Sugar Creek, MO and her father, Joseph Miller of Kansas City, MO; 2 children, James Firebaugh and Jenny Firebaugh both of Independence, MO and a granddaughter, Jessica Tackett.
