Anna Katherine Fischer, 90, Lee’s Summit, MO passed away Friday, March 26, 2010 at John Knox Village. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, April 3, 2010 at Speaks Suburban
Chapel. Burial to follow at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the John Knox Village Hospice.
Anna was born February 13, 1920 in Kansas City, MO the daughter of Max and Alice (Wilhelm) Fischer. She was employed with University of Kansas Medical Center as an Orthotic technician, retiring in 1978. While employed with KU, she was awarded employee of the year in 1968. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. Anna enjoyed cooking, baking, quilting, and was a wonderful seamstress.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Adam Fisher in 2002; and her parents.
Survivors include her nephews, Delbert Fisher; and Leroy Fisher and his wife Kathy; all of Holden; great nieces, Sherry Fisher, Terry Catron and Mary Fisher.
