Steven Scott Flewelling, 39, Sibley, MO passed away Thursday, April 1, 2010 at St. Luke’s Hospital on the Plaza after a long battle with heart failure.
Funeral services will be 5:00 PM Friday at Speaks Buckner Chapel. Burial to follow at Buckner Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00-5:00 Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
Steven was born January 6, 1971 in Kansas City, MO the son of Ronald Richard Flewelling and Dorothy Ray (Satterfield). He was an over the road driver and had worked for delivered medical supplies for Medic One. Steven enjoyed the simple things in life, and always found time to go fishing.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather; Leslie Flewelling.
Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Ray Hays; father, Ronald Flewelling and his wife Edel; son, Jared Roe; half sister, Jade Flewelling; maternal grandparents, Harold and Betty Satterfield; paternal grandmother, Evelyn Flewelling; aunts, Barbara Satterfield and Wanda Smith; cousins, Kevin and Scott Smith; great aunt, Beverly Butler; second cousin, Jimmy Butler and his faithful dog, Mac.
