Trinidad C. Flores, 83, Independence, MO passed away Sunday, May 30, 2010 surrounded by her family. Memorial services will be at a later date.
Trinidad was born March 1, 1927 in Sonora, Mexico, the daughter of Jesus and Sofia (Valencia) Cordova. She moved to the Independence area in 1984 from Arizona to be closer to her family. Trinidad was a devoted Catholic.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfonso Flores in 1996; daughter, Yrma Rascon in 2004; two grandchildren; one great grand daughter; one sister; and one brother.
Survivors include her children, daughter, Edna Angulo of Independence; son, Manuel Flores of Independence; daughter, Terry Evans of Gila Bend, AZ; daughter, Sofia Hernandez of Independence; 17 grandchildren; 37 Great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; three sisters; and two brothers.
