Loretta Ann Fluty, 83, of Liberty, MO passed away Thursday February 26th, 2015. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00pm Monday March 2nd at the Carson-Speaks Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, March 3rd at the chapel. Burial will be at Mt. Washington Cemetery, Independence, MO.
Loretta was born February 21st, 1932 in Lawson, MO as one of eight children to Floyd M. and Nettie E. (Alysworth) Green. She graduated from Manual High School. She worked as a seamstress for Allied Theater Crafts, Inc, and was a member with the Garment Workers Union. She was a talented seamstress making clothes for her family, wedding dresses, and her husband’s suits. She was a wonderful cook, an avid bowler, and enjoyed scary movies. She is loved and will be missed.
She is survived by daughter, Kathy Beggs of Chicago Ridge, IL; son, Terry Shaw of CO; stepchildren, Kristi Turner and Gerry Fluty; brother, Dean Green (Jo Ann) of Kansas City, KS; brother, Tom Green (Naida) of Liberty, MO; sister, Candy Bierly (Jon) of Jersey Shore, PA; grandchildren, Kim Parisi (Mike) of Chicago Ridge, IL; Zak Crowley of South Carolina; Michael Beggs of Chicago, IL; Emily Crumley of Excelsior Springs, MO; nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clyde Fluty; son, Earl Lee Shaw; brother Willy Green; sisters, Betty Harris, Delores Taylor, Charline Chaffee.
