Bill Foster unexpectantly passed away after a series overwhelming health challenges. Bill was born in Warrensburg, Missouri. He graduated from Shawnee Mission High School in 1956 and married Wanda in 1957 and they shared a wonderful life together for 54 years. His career included brief service in the U.S Army and he was a member of the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department for three years. For most of his professional life he was the owner of a dry cleaning business in Warrensburg and most recently in eastern Jackson County. He was a kind, generous, fun loving person who will always be remembered with wonderful memories. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Foster, mother, Dorothy Foster and his brother Terry Foster. In addition to his wife Wanda, he is survived by Steve Foster (brother), Tami and Mike Rogers (daughter and son-in-law), Tim and Debi Foster (son and daughter-in-law) and Todd and Paige Foster (son and daughter-in-law), three grandchildren, a great grandson and numerous nephews and nieces. Memorial services will be at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. Visitation will be from 4:30-6:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Wayside Waifs or your local animal shelter.
