Katherine Anne Fox, 86, of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Village House Hospice in Lee’s Summit, MO. Services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Village House Hospice, 600 NW Pryor Rd., Lee’s Summit, MO 64081. Anne was born August 23, 1925 in Council Bluffs, IA to Ward Lavern and Dora Margaret (Ranney) Barritt. She was united in marriage on October 7, 1967 to Roy Fox. Anne is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Roy Fox; his son Gerard Fox and wife Carol; grandchildren Kristi Eggleston and husband Bill, Travis Fox and wife Laura; great-grandchildren Nicholas, Riley, Cooper and Mioara; brother Ward L. “Bud” Barritt and wife Evelyn; sister Helen Joice; sister-in-law Gloria Barritt; niece Margaret McDowell; nephew Evan Manuel and wife Mary Jo; and other extended family members. Anne was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
