Frank Howard Devine, Jr.

Frank Howard Devine Jr, 77, of Independence, MO passed away Friday, May 02, 2025 at his home. Frank was born on December 15, 1947, in Kansas City, KS to Frank and Mary (Conkling) Devine Sr. After graduating from high school Frank joined the Army and served from August 4, 1967, through July 31, 1969, when he was honorably discharged. He went on to work as a truck driver in freight transportation for many years to follow. Frank enjoyed working on engines in his spare time.

Frank is preceded in death by his wife Sally and his parents. He is survived by a sister Betty (Jim) Kirby of Holden, MO, two brothers James Herbert Devine of Overland Park, KS, and David Westley (Janet) Devine of North Kansas City, MO, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Frank will be held from 1:00- 2:00 pm on Thursday May 08, 2025, at Speaks Suburban Chapel (18020 E 39th St S Independence, MO 64055) with a service immediately following at 2:00 pm. He will be buried at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO following graveside honors on Friday May 09, 2025.
