Gerald M. "Jerry" Franks

Gerald M. "Jerry� Franks, 64, Buckner, Mo. passed away April 21, 2005 at Blue Springs Care Center. Services will be 2 pm, Monday April 25, 2005 at Speaks Buckner Chapel; interment Buckner Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 - 5 pm, Sunday at the funeral home. The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society or Odyssey Hospice. Jerry was born Feb. 22, 1941 in Eureka Springs, AR. He worked at Union Wire Rope, a division of Armco Steel for 15 years and later as maintenance supervisor for Little Village Apartments in Buckner. He enjoyed painting, hunting, fishing and playing the guitar. Jerry is survived by his wife of 39 years Judy Franks, of the home; sons Russell Franks and wife Kristen, Buckner, Mo; Ron Franks and wife Motty, Blue Springs, Mo; Roger Franks and wife Kimberle, Lee�s Summit, Mo; grandchildren Alex, Matthew, Ryan, and Paige; three brothers and three sisters.
