Larry Franks Sr

Larry D. Franks, Sr., 67, of Independence, MO passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2011. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday December 17, 2011 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Cremation to follow. Larry was born February 29, 1944 in Hinton, OK to T.A. and Opal (Isenberg) Franks. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Patricia Carroll; sons Larry Franks, Jr., and wife Peggy, Ray Franks and wife Tina; granddaughters Rachel, Dana, Brianna; sister Margaret Stephens and husband Bill; and by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Mr. Franks was preceded in death by his parents and brother Joe Franks.
