John W. Fraser, Jr., passed away peacefully October 16, 2022 at his residence in Shawnee, Kansas. Born at Shawnee Mission Medical Center, he spent most of his life in Overland Park. A graduate of Shawnee Mission West high school, John earned his bachelor’s degree from Avila University in Kansas City, Missouri.
John was preceded in death by his father, John W. Fraser; his mother, Ermil K. Fraser; and his step-mother, Sharon P. Fraser. He is survived by two step-sisters, Karen Shapiro and Joyce Sooy, and will be deeply missed by aunts, Elsie Thompson and Karen Koerth, uncle Douglas Ott, numerous cousins and their children.
