Frederick Glenn Gibbs was born on June 20, 1943 to Hazel and Merle Gibbs and passed away Wednesday evening, 3/18/26. Fred was a lifelong resident within the Greater Kansas City, MO area.

Fred is preceded in death by his Parents, two sisters and two brothers. Fred was the youngest of five.

Fred leaves behind his wife Irene of 61 years of marriage, his daughter Christina, his son Fred Jr, his granddaughter Valorie, his grandson Brett and two great grandsons Zander and Darryl, along with many nieces and nephews.

Fred loved to tell stories, and he had plenty to tell. Fred enjoyed oldies country music and Elvis Presley, he enjoyed going to mexican dances with his wife back in their younger years.

One of Fred's favorite things to do was going to Wichita to visit his sisters.

Fred was a generous man who would do absolutely anything for anyone.
