Mary Elizabeth French, 89, Independence, MO died Saturday, November 20, 2010.
Memorial services will be at 1:30 pm Saturday, December 4, 2010 at the Community Center at The Groves, 1515 W. White Oak, Independence, MO.
Mary was born July 2, 1921 in Bradner, OH the daughter of Bert Louis and Catherine Opal (Brandon) Teeple. She was a member of the Remnant Church and a past member of the Eastern Star. Mary enjoyed craft making and especially loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Carl French in 1984; parents; one sister and four brothers.
Survivors include her son, Jack C. French; daughter, Marlene K. Sorgen and her husband James “Jim”; son, Jerald “Jerry” F. French and his wife Debra; grandchildren, Craig Sorgen and his wife Alyssa, Jill Onka and her husband Jason, Matthew Terry, Shaina French and Alex French; great grandson, Andrew “Andy” Onka and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and family.
Plans pending for a memorial service in Ohio in the spring of 2011, also.
