Mary French

Mary L. French, 72, of Independence, MO passed away May 20, 2010 at Centerpoint Medical Center. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 24, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 25, at Holden Cemetery. Mary Lou was born August 19, 1937 in Appleton City, MO to Loyd S. and Faye Lydia (Underwood) Belew. She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 35 years, Robert L. French, Sr.; one sister; one brother; and one granddaughter, Stephanie Teevan. She is survived by daughter, LaVonne French and husband George Eckes; son, Robert L. French, Jr. and children Robert III, Chad and Darcy; daughter, Rhonda Teevan and husband Kevin and children Erica, Jessica and Kyle; daughter, Rita Bamesberger and husband Scott and children Brandon and Chelsey; as well as three sisters and one brother. She will be dearly missed.
