Mary Margaret Freund, 79, Independence, MO passed away Thursday, May 19, 2011.
Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 AM Tuesday at Carson-Speaks Chapel; 1501 W. Lexington Ave. Independence, MO. Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO.
Mary was born December 21, 1931 in Kansas City, MO the daughter of Carl E. and Julia V. (Reynolds) Rogers. She was a dietician and had worked for John Knox Village. Mary enjoyed cooking, gardening, playing keno and she especially loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Freund on September 15, 2010; sister, Ethel Fowler and her parents.
Survivors include her daughters, Vickie O’Bryan and Carla Hill; grandchildren, Danny Lowery, Melissa Batton, Michelle Vanness, Courtney Mitchell and Steven Hickman; ten great grandchildren and her sister, Carol Smith.
