Sylvia Sue Frizzell, 78, of Independence, MO passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at Carmel Hills Living Center. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 11, 2008 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be 2-4:00 p.m. Sunday, August 10, 2008 at Speaks. Burial in Mt. Washington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to BBFI, PO Box 191, Springfield, MO 65801 or to Urban Life Ministries, 4500 Little Blue Pkwy, Independence, MO 64057. Sue was born June 6, 1930 in Wakenda, MO to John and Nancy (Bensen) Bradshaw. She married Jack Frizzell on August 6, 1945 before moving to the Kansas City area in 1950. Sue was a loving wife and mother to her four sons. Mrs. Frizzell was a lifelong homemaker known for cooking, pies being her specialty. Sue enjoyed canning, and quilting in her spare time and was an avid Kansas City Royals baseball fan. She was a faithful member of Tri-City Ministries. Sue is survived by her sons and their spouses Ronald and Jerrie Frizzell of Paola, KS, Paul and Barbara Frizzell of Bolivia, South America, Michael and Suzanna Frizzell of Grain Valley, MO; 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; sister Jo Braden and husband Dale of Kissee Mills, MO; daughter-in-law Hazel Frizzell of Independence, MO; and by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack in ’03, son John in ’05 and sister Nancy Dysart in ’05.
