Lois Frost

Lois Frost, 90, of Independence, MO passed away August 17, 2009 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 19, at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Following the graveside service the family will greet friends during a reception starting at 12:15p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, 14506 E. 39th St. South, Independence, MO. Lois was born January 20, 1919 in Pomana, MO to Alfred and Grace (Wildman) Eastman. She was a faithful member of Christ United Methodist Church. Lois was passionate about quilting, and was a member of the Queen City Quilters, Busy Bee’s and was a charter member of the Calico Cut-Up’s. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Frost; daughter, Anne Fellers; son, Norman Frost; and daughter-in-law, Shirley Williams. Lois is survived by her three sons, Eddie Williams, Robert and wife Mary Frost, Richard and wife Mary Frost; daughter-in-law, Brenda Frost; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Christ United Methodist in memory of Lois.
