Mary Lou Fye

Mary Lou Fye, 78, of Independence, MO, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at the Medical Center of Independence. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 24, 2006 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be 12-1:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Outreach International. Mary Lou was born April 10, 1928 in Monett, MO to James L. and Mabel E. (Caselman) Pratt. She was a long-time member of the Community of Christ Church in the South Crysler Congregation. Mrs. Fye loved her family and enjoyed writing poetry in her spare time. Mary Lou is survived by her husband of 59 years, Elmer Fye of the home; daughter and son-in-law Kathy and Greg Dexheimer, daughter Myrna Tweedy, son Danny Fye, son and daughter-in-law Dwain and Marilyn Fye; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister Rosalie Kramer; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother James Pratt.
