Gabriel Michael Zukel

Gabriel Michael Zukel, 25, of Raytown, Missouri, passed away on September 28, 2023. Gabriel was born on March 11, 1998 to Michael and Gina Zukel at Saint Joseph Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.
Gabriel went to Truman High School in Independence. He attended Blue River Community College for a short time before he started working young to help support his family. He worked at Mirror Image Carwash, McKeever's Price Chopper, Palmentere Brother's Distribution, and finally at Progressive Insurance Company.  He attended church at Church of the Harvest  Independence Campus, where at times he helped mentor youth.

Gabriel is survived by his wife Lindsey Jo, daughters, Gabriella, Daizy, Violette, and son, Zaydyn. As well as his parents, Gina Zukel and Michael Zukel, his siblings Shannon Cowan, Sidni Betterton, Sophia Zukel, and Mackenzie Levens, and many beloved family members and friends.
Gabriel is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Sami Cowan, paternal grandmother, Margie Zukel, and cousin Evan Henry Cowan. 

Services will be held at Speaks Funeral Home, 18020  E. 39th St., Independence, Missouri, Saturday, October 7, 2023. Visitation starting at 1 PM with service after beginning at  PM.
