Raymond H. Galler

Raymond H. Galler, 84, of Blue Springs, MO, passed away Monday, March 12, 2007 at St. Mary�s Hospital in Blue Springs, MO. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 15, 2007 at the Remnant Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 5555 Valley View Rd, Blue Springs, MO 64015. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery. Ray was born September 20, 1922 in Medford, WI to Frank and Hilda (Jenson) Galler. Mr. Galler proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII. He taught at East High School in Kansas City for 26 years before retiring in 1987. Ray enjoyed fishing and bowling in his spare time and vegetable gardening. Mr. Galler is survived by his wife of 64 years, Thelma (Conklin) Galler; children Kenneth Galler, Barbara Schneider and husband Jim, Cheryl Wiss and husband Ed, Judy Hopper and husband Doug; grandchildren John, Annette, Jennifer, Raymond, Kimberly, Michael, Danielle, Allison; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; brother Franklin Galler and wife Betty. Ray was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law Mary Galler.
