Kathryn Gann

March 17, 1938 — April 20, 2008

Kathryn Gann, 70, of Independence, MO, passed away, Sunday, April 20, 2008 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Blue Springs, MO. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday evening at the chapel. Kathryn was born March 17, 1938 in Harrisburg, AR and spent her early life in Arkansas before moving to Independence, MO and attending nurses training. She had worked as a private duty LPN for a number of years before she retired in 1993. She enjoyed growing tomato plants and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was a longtime member of the Lakeview Pentecostal Church. Kathryn was married to Thomas A. Gann on December 31, 1956, he survives of the home. Other survives include; 2 daughters. Judy Beard and her husband Pat of Oak Grove, MO and Sandy Cole and her husband John of Blue Springs, MO; 6 grandchildren, Bridget Sediqzad, John Thomas James and his wife Kristen, Jacob Beard, Noah James, Joseph Beard and Paul Breedlove and 2 great grandchildren, Maddox Sediqzad and William Thomas James. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheila Farrel Sediqzad in 2001.
