Dorothy Garrison, 91, Raytown, MO passed away Thursday, December 20, 2007 at Hidden Lakes Care Center. The visitation will be from 1-2:00 PM, Sunday, Dec. 23 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Indep., with services following at 2:00 PM; burial at Brooking Cemetery.
Dorothy was born February 13, 1916 in Kansas City, MO to James and Queen (Brizendine) Shultz. She worked as a seamstress for HD Lee Co. and later as a dental technician at Tru Dental Lab until her retirement in her mid 80s. Dorothy was a lifelong, active member of the Blue Ridge Boulevard Christian Church. She enjoyed many activities including sewing and traveling with her church group. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Garrison, five brothers, and two sisters. She is survived by her sister, Helen Parrott of Raytown, 11 nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.
