Arthur John Gavoli

Arthur John Gavoli, 64 of Kansas City, Mo passed away, Friday, November 13, 2015 at his residence. Cremation is planned with a memorial gathering to the held from 2-4:00 p.m., Saturday, November 21, 2015 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052. Donations may be made in his name to Kansas City Hospice. Arthur was born January 29, 1951 in New Haven CT to Richard and Clementina (Rubino) Gavoli. He spent his early life in CT and graduated from East Haven High School in 1968. He had worked as a chef for many area hospital and nursing facilities. He enjoyed all types of music and playing the piano, vacations, traveling, his dogs and reading his bible. He is survived by; a brother, Richard Gavoli in Warsaw, MO and his longtime companion, Alan Sharp of the home. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dominic Gavoli.
