Arnold George

Pete George, 69, of Independence, MO passed away in his home on Wednesday, February 17, 2010. He was born on August 2, 1940 in Jamestown, MO to James and Nellie (Hossman) George. He was a member of Laborers Local #264 for 44 years. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Myra (Northern) George, of the home; two children, Brenda Plumb and husband Curtis of Napoleon, MO, Dwayne George and wife Debbie of Greenwood, MO; four grandchildren, Kendra Lee and husband Jeremy, Kelsey Plumb and fiancé Nathan, Jesse George and Garrett George; one great grandchild, Kierstin Lee; one brother, JR George and wife Betty of Jamestown, MO; five sisters, Norma Hutchison and husband J.D. of Independence, MO, Shelba Hees of Jamestown, MO, Mary Morrison and husband Lawrence of Harrisonville, MO, Janece McCormick and husband Charles of Independence, MO, and Velma Nichols of Napoleon, MO.
