Gerald Ray Beachner, Jerry to most, passed away peacefully on February 14th, 2026. Jerry was born on June 26, 1955, in Independence, Missouri to Sherman and Dora (Burnham) Beachner.
Jerry was a loving husband and father, who owned his own antique business and worked in various retail industries before a career ending injury placed him on disability.
He loved the outdoors and when there was an opportunity to, he was always out fishing and hunting. He was always up for a game of pool or a night of karaoke, and if there were a college for telling jokes, he would have been their most distinguished professor. He frequently told stories and shared memories of great hunting & fishing adventures with his friends, exploring the strip-pits all throughout southern Missouri.
He was a caring, selfless, kind-hearted man who loved to make people laugh and he will be dearly missed.
Jerry is survived by: Children - Jonathan Beachner & Alex Rausch, Jeremy & Andrea Manning, Casey Manning, Mary Jane Manning. Grandchildren - Kolby Beachner and Tatien Miller. Siblings - Doug Beachner, Cindy & Al Hefter, and Linda & Steve York. Partner - Donna Troya. Many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sherman and Dora Beachner, and brother Terry Moats.
A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 24th from 6:00-8:00pm at Carson-Speaks Chapel in Independence, Mo.
