The family enjoyed many wonderful vacations across the country, often camping together. In retirement Gerald and Judith enjoyed traveling adventures that took them to several destinations across the United States including Alaska and Hawaii, and they also traveled to Ireland. When not traveling, they also found time to be very involved with their four grandchildren.

Gerald was an avid bridge player, participating in several bridge groups with his wife Judith. In their bridge clubs they enjoyed the fellowship of many wonderful friends.
