Richard Gieber, 70, of Grain Valley, MO passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, May 16 at Blue Springs Cemetery. Richard served in the U.S. Air Force for five years and then began 30 years of service with the U.S. Postal Service. He was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed yard work. Richard is survived by his wife of 46 years, Juanita; sons, Phillip and Steven; mother, Lucy Blankenship; and brother, Dr. Jess Blankenship, Jr..
