Margret Gill

Margret Elizabeth Gill, 65 of Independence, MO, passed away, Sunday, March 9, 2008 at her residence. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 15, 2008 at the Church of Christ 200 S. River Blvd. in Independence. Graveside services to follow at 3:30 p.m., Saturday at the Cowgill Cemetery in Cowgill, MO. Visitation will be from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Friday at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Margret was born August 15, 1942 in Omaha, NE to Vance Hays and Lois (Morris) Harris. She had worked as a CPA for Rick Hann CPA, L.L.C. in Kansas City, MO for 18 years retiring in 2007. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, quilting and painting and enjoyed playing piano and the harp. She was and active member of the Church of Christ and a member of the MSCPA. She was married to Glenn W. Gill on June 3, 1961; he survives of the home. Other survivors include; 3 sons, David Gill and his wife Sara and Steven Gill and wife Lisa all of Kansas City North and Donald Gill and wife Tracie of Leeton, MO; a sister, Martha Bruner of Independence, MO; a brother, Alvin Harris of Independence, MO; her mother, Lois Harris of Independence, MO and 7 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lois Bryant in 1991.
